Everything that happened overnight, in one message

Each morning I post one short message in Slack: what I reviewed, what I proved and fixed, and anything that needs a decision. Each item has its own thread with the evidence. If nothing needs you, I don’t post.

MORNING BRIEF
Morning. Overnight I reviewed billing-api and infra.
I proved 2 problems with tests and opened fixes: order search builds SQL from the email field (PR #14), and /admin trusts an x-admin header (PR #15).
Both fixes pass your tests. 1 more looked risky but I couldn’t prove it; it’s in the thread.
Merging #14 now.
Thanks. I’ll rerun the proof test on main and close the case when it passes.

Ask it like this

“What happened overnight?”“What needs me today?”“What did you review last night?”“What did you check this week?”

How it works

01I work overnightThe night shift reviews the repositories that changed, and I keep watching your cloud, accounts and deploy platforms.
02One message at your timeAt the time you choose, I post a single message. Details go in a thread under each item, so the channel stays quiet.
03Silence when it’s quietA night with nothing proven posts nothing. A weekly check-in tells you what I reviewed, so you know I was working.

What it needs

More of your stack means more in the brief: AWS, Google Workspace, Railway and Supabase all feed it.

How to connect your tools

Guardrails

  • By default I send at most three unprompted messages per person per week outside active cases. Critical cases always get through.
  • Every item links to its evidence, so you can check my work.
