Learn how to work with Averil

Set me up, connect your tools and get the most out of each case. Averil is in early access: we set up your connections with you during onboarding, and these guides explain each step.

GET STARTED

Your first day with AverilWhat to prepare, how to install Averil in Slack and connect GitHub, and what happens in the first 24 hours.

How Averil worksHow a signal becomes a case, how the case moves through its states, and what Averil means when it says a fix is verified.

CONNECT YOUR TOOLS

Connect SlackSlack is where Averil works: one thread per case, approvals with a click, and answers to your questions.

Connect GitHubA read-only GitHub App lets Averil see your repositories, owners, alerts and settings, and read code when an investigation needs it.

Connect AWSYou create a read-only IAM role that only Averil's broker can assume, with an ExternalId unique to your workspace.

Connect Google WorkspaceAveril reads your directory, OAuth grants and sign-in events, so it can find former employees with access and apps nobody remembers granting.

Connect RailwayAveril reads your Railway projects, members and variable names, so a provider incident maps to your keys in minutes.

Connect SupabaseAveril finds exposed databases and the project settings that decide whether your data is public.
